Why do soldiers run away from battle?

What seemed to be hot in media coverage is the continued trial of military personnel who had either abandoned orders or mutinied. Recent reports alleged that the brigade commander or the 23rd armoured brigade, col. O.O Popoola and some senior officers are being questioned on their roles in the fall of Mubi. What is most shocking to observers was the ease in which the boko haram terrorist ovee ran three whole brigades stationed around Mubi; The 213 brigade, 234 brigade and the 21 support group. What is making the Nigerian soldiers run away from battle? How come we have been seeing public trial of military men? And no public trial of captured terrorists? These and many unanswered questions seemed to be what emboldens the insurgents. One thing stands clear since the fight against terrorism started in Nigeria; battle ready soldiers have been denied the necessary support for the war campaign. It has contributed to their low morale hence successive the defeat against them. The Senate must find out how the military budget is being spent; who took what and where it is taken to. Captured terrorist must be tried in our public courts and be given stiff sentences to serve as deterrence to others. The President as the Commander in chief of the Armed forces must visit troops at the front line of attack to boost their morale just like he's fond of encouraging our football teams before and after their matches. And even going extra mile to offer them special packages like money or houses in Abuja. Our military should also be given such special treatments too. Families of fallen heroes must also be taken cared of immediately. Entitlements of those who died at battles should be given to their next of kins with out delay. Wounded soldiers should also be fixed and be given special attention and counselling to be able to live normal lives within the society.

Some solutions to almajiri problem

It is often said that difficult problems requires difficult solutions, almajiranci (child begging/labor) therefore calls for unemotional drastic measures, some of which are; 1) All almajiri/stray children must be mopped off the street and camped in a special facility by State Governments or any organized participating party recognized by government. 2) Special tutors and teachers to be provided for them with multiple languages and skills in technology 3) Engage them with Arabic and Artificial intelligence, teach them computer hard ware and software skills. Monday Chikwunka from Delta mastermind kidnappings in the North

"In the course of the operation, troops conducted a cordon and search exercise while acting on credible intelligence reports at YAR SANTA village in Kankara Local Government Area and its environ. At the peak of the exercise, one Mr Monday Chikwunka, 36 years old, an indigene of Delta state alongside sixteen (16) other bandits specialised in rustling cows, killing and kidnapping of citizens were intercepted.
