Ranting of a Presidential aid

“those who make peaceful change inevitable will make violent change inevitable”. President John Kennedy.
The above statement was said to have been re emphasised some time in 2011 by vice president Atiku Abubakar. Again, the former vice president had a press conference on the aftermath of the take over of the chief of Defence Staffs' home town by boko haram. Abubakar accused the Government and the military of not doing enough to curtail the advances of the terrorist.
Obviously, Doyen Okupe- a presidential aid, irked by the stinging truths exposed in the press conference, attacked Atiku Abubakar for utterances that supports insurgency.
Okupe accused that the famous President Kennedy quote   caused the escalation of terrorism in the North East of Nigeria.
This type of accusations only continue to expose the presidency that it is only good in grasping at straws instead of substance.
He should have defended the Government through the publishing of its concerted effort at dealing with terrorism bedevilling the country.
The Government truly has a lame response to criticism instead of proactive approach to public outcry. It must seem, and practically so, to be honest with truths and be on top of security situations.
It is our collective desire to see our Government take decisive action to protect every Nigerian from harm irrespective of region,  tribe,  or religion.
