Timawus Mathias, please don't buy it!

Uncle Tim has been some sort of a role model for so many young chaps like me. His analysis of public discourse has most times been rich and sharp. He has been subject of great information to people of Adamawa State especially the current refugee status we have been thrown into by boko haram terrorist.


But please uncle Tim do not buy into the crap the Government is selling to us about the so called 'screening' of the victorious vigilantes.


You mean the Government didn't know the vigilantes existed until now?


Vigilantes have been operating along side security outfits for a long time. They have existed side by side with our traditional institutions as 'yan banga, sarkin baka etc especially in the Northern part of the country.


The Government have been screening them for a long time.  The various traditional councils have been screening them; they know all their members hence no fear of infiltration.


Screening the vigilantes in this our of need would entail recalling them from 'battle formations' to the State capital.  This screening will take days in which it will allow the insurgents to regroup and unleash further mayhem. Please Timawus do not buy this excuse.


Government at this time must be on the side of the people and the vigilantes. What is needed is moral and financial support, weaponry and transport.


After succeeding in crushing the insurgents yhen they would be ready for screening; I buy this!

Some solutions to almajiri problem

It is often said that difficult problems requires difficult solutions, almajiranci (child begging/labor) therefore calls for unemotional drastic measures, some of which are; 1) All almajiri/stray children must be mopped off the street and camped in a special facility by State Governments or any organized participating party recognized by government. 2) Special tutors and teachers to be provided for them with multiple languages and skills in technology 3) Engage them with Arabic and Artificial intelligence, teach them computer hard ware and software skills. Monday Chikwunka from Delta mastermind kidnappings in the North

"In the course of the operation, troops conducted a cordon and search exercise while acting on credible intelligence reports at YAR SANTA village in Kankara Local Government Area and its environ.
