PDP is a sinking ship

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), allegedly the biggest political party in Africa, can best be described as a sinking ship. In that simile lies panic, frenzy resulting into lost of focus, direction and ultimately, disgraceful end.

Last week the Country was served a with a wicked recipe that was very bitter to swallow; by no other one but a big boy from the stable of the PDP calling on his dwindling supporters to crush the opposition like they would kill cockroaches. This spiteful instigation must not have come from leaders but it was commanded by a sitting Governor of a State!

Shehu Shema is not only husband but a father. How can he stand in front of his wife with this kind of outburst? And even lead his children in prayers and teach them to abhor violence? Is that what PDP all about?

In Ekiti State 7 PDP law makers, magically formed a quorum, and impeached the Speaker of the house and no one raised alarm. The President who is the party national leader silently endorsed that illegality. The Governor, the whole party caucus did not see it as a blow to democracy? Then what is democracy?

what is democracy to PDP is the use of force, administration of crooked means, bribery, intimidation and so many negative methods in achieving their desired goals.

Bamanga Tukur, the erstwhile PDP chairman was removed from seat illegally.

They have completely lost it. The height of insensitivity and and disregard to law was the invasion of the legislature by security personnel supervised by the PDP Government.

PDP may choose to be cautious and thread the path of honour. They can still salvage their image and generate the required votes in the forth coming general election.
