APC rejects Adamawa result

The APC has rejected the outcome of last Saturday’s governorship election held in Adamawa State and called on
INEC Nigeria to probe the election process in all the LGAs affected.

The North East National Vice chairman of the party, comrade Mustapha Salihu said in a Press conference in Yola at the party's Secretariat. It could be recalled that INEC has cancelled results in 44 polling units and has declared the whole process inconclusive.

The major contenders were the incumbent Governor, Mohammad Umaru Jibrilla Bindow of APC who polled 334,995, and former state speaker house of Assembly Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of PDP with a leading score of 367,471.
