List of candidates for 2019 election is out

INEC on Thursday, October 25th, displayed the list of candidates for the 2019 general election and their particulars at INEC offices nation wide. Mr Leo Nkedife, Head, Voter Education and Publicity, said the publication was in compliance to the stipulations of section 31(3) of the Electoral Act as amended.

He said the list was for those of Presidential, Senatorial and House of Assembly candidates.

This will enable the affected candidates to verify their particulars  for various positions they are contesting for.

Some solutions to almajiri problem

It is often said that difficult problems requires difficult solutions, almajiranci (child begging/labor) therefore calls for unemotional drastic measures, some of which are; 1) All almajiri/stray children must be mopped off the street and camped in a special facility by State Governments or any organized participating party recognized by government. 2) Special tutors and teachers to be provided for them with multiple languages and skills in technology 3) Engage them with Arabic and Artificial intelligence, teach them computer hard ware and software skills. Monday Chikwunka from Delta mastermind kidnappings in the North

"In the course of the operation, troops conducted a cordon and search exercise while acting on credible intelligence reports at YAR SANTA village in Kankara Local Government Area and its environ. At the peak of the exercise, one Mr Monday Chikwunka, 36 years old, an indigene of Delta state alongside sixteen (16) other bandits specialised in rustling cows, killing and kidnapping of citizens were intercepted.
