CORRUPTION: Cost of a bra

It is a truism that what a man can do a woman can do better? Or worse! A lamentation from a whopping $12.5 million bra that is recently put up for auction by the Nigerian Government. 

Items from proceeds of corruption are often displayed for auctions by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), an anti-graft agency of the Government of Nigeria. Staff at th agency were dumbfounded when a bra belonging to the former petroleum minister, Diezani Allison Madueka was valued at £8.5 million!

Heavenly star bra is encrusted by sapphires and 90 carat emerald diamond at the center that was worth $10.6 million as at that time it was valued. The total number of the lingerie to be auction were 30 pieces according to the EFCC.

Allison Madueka who served in President Goodluck Jonathan's cabinet is still talked about in numerous international crime syndicate, especially within the corridors of illegal oil theft and money laundering. She was linked to Kolawole Aluko, an international oil magnet, who was also indicted in stealing Nigeria's oil. 

Mr Aluko "is one of four defendants accused of helping to cheat Nigeria out of nearly $1.8 billion owed to the government on massive sales of oil. In a separate investigation, Nigerian authorities are also reportedly probing whether Mr. Aluko helped smuggle millions of dollars out of the country as kickbacks to Nigeria’s former petroleum minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke", as reported by Premium Times in July, 2016.



Allison Madueka was rumored to have a romantic relationship with Kolawole Aluko when she was petroleum minister. Her expensive taste for exotic bras and jewelry displays the roller coaster intimacy she had with Aluko who was defined as an "international playboy" by the media.

It is yet to be seen who will finally buy the bulk of bras in the exhibition. 

Most men do not notice the value or cost of a bra in the heat of an impending intimacy. How much does a bra cost? This answers the reason why playboys tear down bras during romantic encounters.

Men I have interviewed view a piece of bra as a "hindrance" rather than an ornament for fashion.

Some solutions to almajiri problem

It is often said that difficult problems requires difficult solutions, almajiranci (child begging/labor) therefore calls for unemotional drastic measures, some of which are; 1) All almajiri/stray children must be mopped off the street and camped in a special facility by State Governments or any organized participating party recognized by government. 2) Special tutors and teachers to be provided for them with multiple languages and skills in technology 3) Engage them with Arabic and Artificial intelligence, teach them computer hard ware and software skills. Monday Chikwunka from Delta mastermind kidnappings in the North
