Who is a real man

A video has emerged where a lady had slapped a man three times for allegedly asking her how much she charges for the night. Obviously the man thought she was a prostitute. However, eye witnesses confirmed that she was actually a prostitute but got angry because there people videoing the incident.  A lot of male commentators were angered by the conduct of the man for refusing to hit back at the lady.  In another development, a similar video has also made its way t social media where a man was seen to have hit back at his girlfriend. Who is a real man has become a big question on the conscience of many men. Is it the one who retaliates from a slap from a woman or one who decides to refrain from hitting back?

CORRUPTION: Cost of a bra

Image
One of the controversial bra It is a truism that what a man can do a woman can do better? Or worse! A lamentation from a whopping $12.5 million bra that is recently put up for auction by the Nigerian Government.  Items from proceeds of corruption are often displayed for auctions by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), an anti-graft agency of the Government of Nigeria. Staff at th agency were dumbfounded when a bra belonging to the former petroleum minister, Diezani Allison Madueka was valued at £8.5 million! Heavenly star bra is encrusted by sapphires and 90 carat emerald diamond at the center that was worth $10.6 million as at that time it was valued. The total number of the lingerie to be auction were 30 pieces according to the EFCC. Allison Madueka who served in President Goodluck Jonathan's cabinet is still talked about in numerous international crime syndicate, especially within the corridors of illegal oil theft and money laund...

POLICE BRUTALITY FUELING YOUTH AGITATION

Image
Picture above shows the damaged eye of the Uber driver as brutalized by the police Police high-handedness had sparked spontaneous reaction that turned unruly in some parts of the country especially Lekki, in Lagos State. These reactions had allegedly led to deaths of some youths which were part of the protests in Lekki tollgate. There is still a back and forth between the protesters and the Government as to facts of killing by the military. One year after, there is still no hard evidence to resolve that there was an actual massacre as claimed by the sponsors of the protest tagged #EndSARS. SARS was an acronym meaning Special Anti-Robbery Squad which Nigerian youths pushed for its abolition. Although the youths won the battle and SARS was abolished by the Inspector General of Police, buy the fight is far from over as many incidences of Police brutality still abounds. It is common to see police stripping young ladies on the way to or from night hangouts in Abuja and Lagos. It is also com...

TERRORISM: The Sunday Igboho connection and other ethnic agitators.

Image
Terrorism investigators have proven that one of the ways to get financiers of terror and other international crime is to follow the money trail. Many Governments have adopted this approach and made successes in infiltrating the networks of criminal gangs.  In 2018, the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU) (Establishment) Act was passed and transformed the Unit into an autonomous and independent agency embedded in the Central Bank of Nigeria. One of the core mandate of the NFIU is to curb Anti-Money Laundering, Counter-Terrorist Financing and Counter-Proliferation Financing (AML/CFT/CPF) framework. Among other things is "Receipt of suspicious transaction reports from reporting entities including financial institutions and designated non-financial businesses and professionals." It would be recalled that the Federal Government of Nigeria has arrested the Yoruba secessionist agitator, Sunday Adeyemo (also know as Sunday Igboho), while trying to flee the country through Be...

These are poison to your foods

Image
 1. Artificial coloring So many people prepare fried rice with the use of artificial colors to make the food look yummy and greenish. This exposes the body to the risk of cancer. Like the name implies, artificial food colors contains chemicals, mostly derived from petroleum; yes, petroleum! " Artificial food dyes are petroleum-derived substances that give color to food. The safety of these dyes is highly controversial." 2. Artificial sweetener In other to taste better, People add artificial sweetener to their meal, especially rice, in order to taste better. However this could be dangerously poisonous. It is also said to damage the Brain cells and can cause severe damage to vital organs. Nnamdi Kanu on the run, again

Image
Ahmadu Ali Gulak  Former Special Adviser, Political, to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Bar. Ahmadu Ali Gulak was murdered by rampaging Igbo terrorists at around Umueze Obiangwu in Ngor-Okpala LGA of Imo state on his way to the airport, as reported by the police on Sunday afternoon. The death occurred after Alhaji Gulak had finished a mediation and restoration of peace between disputing factions within the Imo state APC. Although the police had reported that it was the handiwork of Igbo bandits, majority of observers pointed accusing fingers at the foot soldiers of Nnamdi Kanu, who had declared a compulsory sit-at-home order. Alhaji Gulak's murder was seen as a fall-out of refusing Kanu's order of no movement. Kanu has become the lord and de-factor Government of the Eastern regime. He has been operating outside Nigeria since he escaped capture from Nigeria Army detachment that raided his house in September, 2017. The pre...

A Governor we will never have

Umar Ibn Khattab wept because of the piety and honesty of a provincial Governor  The time the Leader of the Islamic State, Umar Ibn Khattab (ra) demands from the people of the city of Hims (in Syria) to list out the names of the needy so as to assist them with a share of the State funds; what Umar came across shocked and amazed him. In the midst of the name of the poor and impoverished people was the name of the Governor of Hims, that is, Sa’eed Ibn Amir (ra).   Umar asked why the name of the Governor was included in the list of the needy. They replied: “He shares his salary to the poor and needy such that by the time the cycle completes, he is left with nothing”.   Then Umar asked further: Does he do things that you don’t want? They said: Yes.   1. He doesn’t come to attend to us until mid-morning. 2. He doesn’t see us at night. 3. In a week, he keeps away for a day without anyone seeing him. Umar (ra) then asked him why? He (Sa’eed Ibn Amir (ra) said:   ...

US REPORT ALLEGEDLY INDICTS ATIKU & PDP AS BRAINS BEHIND RECENT KILLINGS IN NIGERIA

Image
Atiku Abubakar  The rising wave of insecurity in Nigeria became a cause for concern despite concerted efforts of the country’s security agencies. Daily, Gestapo like criminal activities spring up in various parts of the country that suggest that it might be politically masterminded because of the timing, target and ultimate victims of such organized crime aimed to cause untold embarrassment to the country. Consequently, the Centre for Diplomacy and Democracy, Washington DC, USA, undertook a systematic research on the major issues that shaped the 2019 general elections, vis-a-vid actions of political parties and political actors that were capable of heating the polity and its consequences after the polls, with a view to unravelling the mystery behind the sustained security challenges in Nigeria. The findings are mindboggling as it unraveled a whole lot of pointers that indicate that the securi...

A penis can cost $160,000 in China

https://worldnewsdailyreport.com/chinese-authorities-seize-over-7200-human-penises-on-a-cargo-ship-from-nigeria/ CHINESE AUTHORITIES SEIZE OVER 7,200 HUMAN PENISES ON A CARGO SHIP FROM NIGERIA* Chinese customs officers have made the world’s biggest seizure of human organs in history this morning, a total of 7221 penises of African origin hidden in a refrigerated freight container. Acting on information from an anonymous informer, Chinese officers found the organs in 36 boxes labelled as plantains (cooking bananas) inside a refrigerated container on a ship harboured in the Shanghai Port. Chinese General Administration of Customs spokesman, Li Wu, says an increasingly large number of armed groups in Africa use organ trafficking to finance themselves, making such seizures predictable. “These organs are common commodities now, but they were certainly harvested in unsanitary conditions or contaminated at some point, so we can’t let them out on the Chinese market.” Mr. Li says the organ...

Illorin and Dare Babarinsa's crisis of ignorance

By Is'haq Modibbo Kawu I have just read Dare Babarinsa's typically disrespectful piece about Ilorin, which he titled "Ilorin and the crisis of identity". He actually should be pitied. This is because he made a futile effort to stroll the shores of the history of our people, with an arrogance that left little, for the manner that we, the Ilorin people, understand ourselves; who we are; our aspirations and what we make of our own history! When he started by describing Ilorin as a "Yoruba" city, he assumes that it's an uncontested fact, especially after he regaled his readers with the over-cited history of how the historical events if the 19th century, in the making of Ilorin, have impacted on precolonial state formation, in what became Nigeria. Ilorin's people: Yoruba; Fulbe; Hausa; Gobir; Kanuri; Gwari; Nupe; Barba and Kamberi, have never been overly  worried about the origins of our hometown, because we know it better than the Babarinsas of this worl...

Thinking: Cure for poverty

Image
Your certificate is not the cure to poverty; the cure to poverty is your ability to see and seize opportunities.  School rewards people for their memory. Life rewards people for their creativity and ability to solve problems. School rewards caution; life rewards the daring. School hails those who live by the rules. Life exalts those who break the rules and set new ones. Google alone has built many skills with global accreditation and acceptance that are not taught in traditional class rooms. The classroom as we used to know it is dead, along with your degree certificates. Relearn now! The person who built bolt started at the age of 12, by 19 years he has given birth to taxify ( a cab-hailing company) which later became BOLT with 25 million users in 30 countries. This man is Markus Villig, a 25 year old college drop out. As long as there are problems to be solved, there are opportunities. Think!
