SECURITY: A call to Action

The few distinction between an armed robber and a bandit is described as a "thief with a weapon, especially one belonging to a group that attacks people travelling through the countryside", but the common denominator is that both are thieves and they carry arms. Bandits also attack highbrow areas. The insecurity does not stop only on borderline communities. Last year, thieves attacked my neighborhood and robbed 7 houses unhindered. One year after that, November 2020, they came around again. This time, it was another 9 flats. Why did I mentioned that? These callous people know that we are not secured. The most daunting challenge we have as Nigerians is that we are so divided in almost everything mundane you can think of. To come together and form an alternative security outfit to protect ourselves and our families is a huge task that needs orientation in all of us. Believe me, we couldn't achieve this task, a very simple issue that concerned residents until 2 weeks ago. A...
