Bandits also attack highbrow areas. The insecurity does not stop only on borderline communities. Last year, thieves attacked my neighborhood and robbed 7 houses unhindered.  The plight of a Muslim girl, Sadiya Idris, who was stolen by a Kaduna pastor, Reverend Jonah Gangers, has been brought into limelight. Although the case is already in court, the Nigerian Islamic human rights organization, Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC), has called for a speedy trial and the arrest and prosecution of the accomplices of Rev. Gangers. MURIC made the demand in a statement issued on Friday, 13th November, 2020. MURIC’s press release was signed by its director, Professor Ishaq Akintola.  Harassment, intimidation and assault, are becoming normalized by politicians, especially since the coming of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Adamawa State. A video of an alleged honorable Chairman of local Government in Adamawa State has begun to circulate on social media early afternoon on Saturday. In the video, the honorable was seen moving menacingly, expresing verbal threats, curses and insults towards a man believed to be a motor mechanic.
