LEARN FROM SHEHU SANI, DON’T FIGHT THE WILL OF GOD By Daniel Tabiyatiya Facebook post
Senator Elisha Abbo, (yes that's him, you all know him) has allegedly called Governor Ahmadu Fintiri a liar and a dictator when it became apparent that his supporters (Abbo's) had failed to clinched Local government election tickets in Adamawa State PDP primary election.
Abbo was said to have been angered and accused the PDP and the Governor of heavy interference in selection of party ticket bearers. But in a swift reaction, Gov. Fintiri's supporters are quick in reminding the attention-seeker-Senator that Adamawa politics is not a sex-toy shop.
ENJOY:
I don’t know your advisers (that’s if you actually have) but trust me, they are doing a terrible job.
Do you think that the people advising you are genuinely concerned about you and your progress?
Gov. Fintiri is human, just like you and I. He makes mistakes too just like everyone, but calling him a dictator is out of context.
What has he done to show that he is a dictator? We all know that everyone makes unpopular decisions and Gov. Fintiri isn’t singled out.
Agreed that you met with the Governor 3 times but calling him a liar is not nice at all, create an opinion poll to determine who will be voted as a sincere individual between you and the Governor.
In our customs and traditions in the northern part of the country, its like a taboo for a young one to refer an older person as a liar, remember Gov. Fintiri is like 10 years older than you and deserves all the respect. Apart from being your Governor, he is older than you and he deserves your respect even though you think you were offended.
You always say that you are fighting for the common man, the youths and all that but from all indications you are just like the other politicians, going after your interest. Don’t tell me you are not fighting for your interest because it was boldly written by you that “he ordered the screening committee to disqualify candidates he felt are closer to you”.
I don’t know where you got that from but it clearly shows that your interest is first before any other thing.
Gov. Fintiri might have been against you during the party’s primaries but that doesn’t mean that because you won the election, he wouldn’t want to associate with you. Besides I’ve seen you once or twice together during campaigns and has never for once asked electorates not to vote for you.
Do you remember 2014 Bindow vs Atiku? Bindow wasn’t Atiku's candidate, primaries was twice and both times Bindow won and that didn’t deter Atiku from sponsoring his campaign because they were aiming for the common goal, which was to rule the state.
Bringing that up means you haven’t moved on from that incident.
Why on earth will you even try to compare yourself with Gov. Fintiri? You didn’t contest with him, he went for the Gubernatorial seat while you went for a senatorial seat, you had only 5 local government areas to deal with but he has 21 LGA's.
For your information, Fintiri defeated the incumbent with a margin of more than 40,000 votes compared to the 16,000 votes margin between you and Sen. Binta. I commend you for beating one of the most decorated female politician in the country but using that to weigh your popularity isn’t the best thing to do.
Let me remind you, from the time Fintiri joined politics, he was Minority Whip, Majority Leader, Deputy Speaker, Speaker, 2 times Acting Governor and now a substantive Governor, are you sure you want to test your popularity with him? Shey you know that it’s your first time of being elected to hold a position in the political sphere of the country
Learn from Sen. Shehu Sani, fighting a sitting Governor is like playing with fire in a no smoking zone, I don’t want you to end up as a Facebook politician. There is a hausa adage, In kaga gemun dan uwan ka ya kama wuta, shafa ma kanka ruwa. Let that sink in.
I read a write up credited to you criticizing the Fintiri's led administration's first 100 days in office, I laughed it out.
Now that you have fully activated an onslaught on the Governor, let me brief you on some of the achievements of the present administration in 100 days

These are some of his achievements in his first 100 days, I believe that from the day of your induction to date, you clocked 109 days in office as a senator, what are your achievements? Even your colleagues have achieved more than you.
While Senator Binani and Sen. Binos are busy fighting for the common man on the issue of the conversion of the Modibbo Adama University of Technology to a conventional university and the Federal Medical Center to a teaching hospital, you are focused on fighting the number one citizen of the state, who is also the leader of your party in the state.
Sen. Binani was instrumental in getting like 2000 slots for her constituents in the NDE Scheme.
Sen. Binos organized a free medical outreach in his One where more than 8000 people benefitted, there was a 24 years old young man who regained his sight after 21 years of being blind.
Can you show your scorecard to the people who votes you into power instead of showing us the number of votes you pulled at the 2019 general election?
We all supported and defended you when the sex toy incident came up, we don’t expect you to repay us back by fighting the man who is trying to get Adamawa working again.
You won an election without a godfather, agreed, but you forgot that Fintiri and almost all the PDP candidates who won the last election have no godfather.
Please, stop all these. Do you want to break the party that made you?
You were a member of the APC but was accepted into the PDP folk and you won an election. Remember when you had to visit former president Goodluck Johnathan to ask for forgiveness, don’t hesitate to apologize to the Governor, its not yet late, you can pull out of your mission while there is still time.
You are not an opposition
