Aisha Al Hassan, the Minister for women affairs had made her position known against 2019 permutations. Was it morally right? Yes. Was it politically correct? No. Some months before this, another Aisha also took a stand against 2019. The wife of the president, Aisha Buhari threatened that she may not support her husband if he chose to run again. Was it morally right? No. Was it politically correct? Yes. I beg you to see the distinctions between the two Aishas.

Even before the 2015 election campaigns started, Ibos and the staunch supporters of Goodluck Jonathan had labelled the APC a Hausa-Fulani party, even went on to accused it of being an Islamic congregation. To smoothen the rough edges of relations between the presidency and the parliament, most governments appoint a liaison officer to do that job. In Nigeria, that job falls on Ita Enang, who has persistently failed the president and by extension, all Nigerians.
