Another stench ozing out of the APC camp

Mansur Dan Ali, Nigeria Minister for Defence, allegedly fingered in $1.4m stolen fund

The Debacle of Aisha

Aisha Al Hassan, the Minister for women affairs had made her position known against 2019 permutations. Was it morally right? Yes. Was it politically correct? No. Some months before this, another Aisha also took a stand against 2019. The wife of the president, Aisha Buhari threatened that she may not support her husband if he chose to run again. Was it morally right? No. Was it politically correct? Yes. I beg you to see the distinctions between the two Aishas.

Are there no Ibos in PDP

Even before the 2015 election campaigns started, Ibos and the staunch supporters of Goodluck Jonathan had labelled the APC a Hausa-Fulani party, even went on to accused it of being an Islamic congregation. Those in the South East and South South , particularly Rochas Okorocha and Rotimi Amechi received the most evil bashing of being handles for entrenching the Hausa-Fulani agenda; how frivolous that could be? Those at the front line for these divisive smear campaigns against APC were the usual suspects, Femi Fani Kayode and Governor of Ekiti State. These two had metamorphos to become more Ibos than Ibos themselves! In the real sense these two had worked against the Ibos more than any one in Nigeria. History has revealed their two-faced dealings in the PDP! Today, the seemingly, Christian and more so, ibo party as consistently accepted by Ibos themselves, have zoned the presidential slot to the North. So where are those dancing to the drums of secession because of marginalisation? Wh...

APC is a divine wrath on Nigerians

Image
For years Nigerians were crying for a Messiah who would emerge to take them out of the clutches of a murderous, kleptomaniac and insanely wicked people we call our leaders. Alas Mohammad Buhari finally emerged at the center and bandied some recycled died in the wool so called progressives to take over the misery of innocent voters where those kicked out of power stopped. I am sorry voters but it is business as usual. Yes, we were very clear why we voted out the PDP. For me, the biggest reason was the avoidable constant bloodshed in the North East. I felt Buhari could use his experience as a military man get the blood sucking insurgents out of our towns. No doubt he has fulfilled the singular reason for my vote. He drove away a class of leeches and replaced it with some arrogant scroungers who rides roughshod on our collective helplessness. How can the APC conveniently cover up the grass cutting saga of a highly placed party member and think that it would escape criticism? How can th...

The commander in-chief and his men

To smoothen the rough edges of relations between the presidency and the parliament, most governments appoint a liaison officer to do that job. In Nigeria, that job falls on Ita Enang, who has persistently failed the president and by extension, all Nigerians. The presidency has now resort to establishing a committee to do the job that Ita Enang boggled. The chief of staff job is cut out to protect the president, his presidency and first family against anything malicious, real or imagined; and to also speed up processes where the president seem to be overwhelmed by other presidential responsibilities. Here again, Abba Kyari has failed all of us. In fact, and instead brought the presidency to disrepute and ridicule by immersing the trust bestowed on him in an alleged bribery scandal. These two scenarios are replicated with same disease in most of the men charged to protect the presidency and its policies. At the height of President Trump's travel ban there was a spat betwee...

CANCER in everything you do!

Recently an acquaintance of mine narrated how his friend died of cancer. He narrated that the friend took a large dose of pepper in a local food my people called 'Dan wake'. The person allegedly fainted, and that led the way to his eventual diagnosis of cancer. This could be a coincidence, but a lot of our loved ones die for some good reasons unknown. And this is very disturbing, because most times, we provide items or foods that leads to our sickness. Some time a go, a friend of mine told me to stop taking tea in plastic cups . He defended that he's read somewhere that such plastic cups emit cancer-causing agents and that sometimes you could even see bubbles coming up when ever you put boiled water in those cups. I didn't get to see those bubbles, but somehow I stopped using plastic cups (it is the most usual and convenient thing to use in my place. We have been using plastic cups in my house since we were kids. Most women use those big ones after child birth;women...

THE KILLER DRINK

Many of my friends have confessed addiction to coke. This is something I have been trying trying to regulate in my diet, and have been cautioning people to be wary of regular intake of coke as I once wrote here http://hammanash.blogspot.co.id/2014/11/coca-cola-dangerous-to-health.html?m=1 This new revelation here in Nigeria has pointed out to what we have always known; Coke is dangerous to our health as reported BY SAHARA REPORTERS, NEW YORKMAR 13, 2017 A Lagos High Court sitting at Igbosere has ordered the National Agency For Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) to order the Nigerian Bottling Company (NBC) Plc to put a written warning on Fanta and Sprite bottles stating that both soft drinks are poisonous when consumed along with Vitamin C. The court also held that NAFDAC failed Nigerians by declaring, as fit for human consumption, products discovered by tests in the United Kingdom as turning poisonous when mixed with ascorbic acid (popularly known as Vitamin C...
